Current Lots for February 8th Auction

Current lots for the next auction on 8 February are all available to view now on the Auction House London website. While there are too many to list here, some interesting lots include a vacant ground floor 2-bedroom flat in Selhurst, London, and an 11-bedroom HMO with potential for roof space development in Watford, Hertfordshire. What to Expect During the Auctions

Buying a property through an Auction House London live stream event has been mapped out step-by-step for both buyers and sellers in greater detail on our website.

For a quick summary, our auctions are held via a live stream on the Auction House London website. To take part and bid, you must register prior to the date of the auction as the approval process can take a few days due to legally required security and remote verification checks. Viewing appointments for properties you are interested in can be arranged from each property’s current lot posting on our website.

Once you register as a bidder and are approved, visit our website at the correct time and the auction will begin with the Auctioneer announcing the lot to be bid for, and highlighting any applicable addendums. The Auctioneer then invites bids from the various platforms – telephone, internet or by-proxy bidding – and the auction will end when the final highest bid is achieved, and the reserve price has been met or exceeded.

Investors should note that these properties are sold unconditionally, and not subject to contract. This means that successful bidders are legally obliged to honour the sale.

Successful bidders will be contacted by a member of the Auction House London team during the auction to provide the deposit payment. Once the deposit funds have been processed, the successful bidder receives a Memorandum of Sale (signed as per the remote bidding terms and conditions) with any special conditions of sale attached. Auction House London will then send a copy of the legal pack to the successful bidder’s solicitor if requested via the bidding form, plus the successful bidder should forward their part of the contract to their solicitor as well.

If the reserve price for a property is not achieved, then the highest bidder may still be contacted after the auction.
