Auction House London draws on new business from Countrywide

Auction House London announces an exciting business partnership with Countrywide. The estate agency group comprising of 1,200 nationwide branches, will be referring its London lots to Auction House London.

Since signing the deal, AHL has acted as Countrywide’s London gateway for both private and corporate clients. The collaboration means that Countrywide will no longer have a need for a London-based office. As London’s fastest growing auction house, AHL has witnessed a stellar success rate since 2011, averaging an 89% sale rate and raising a total of £110,106,594 in 2016 alone. AHL has capitalised on this deal and closed its largest ever February catalogue with a total of 139 lots.

A spokesperson from Countrywide said: “Following a review we have closed the London Auctions office. We are continuing to service existing clients through Auction House London, a collaboration which will provide our clients with an exceptional auction service, proved by AHL’s position in the market. AHL, like Countrywide, put their clients at the heart of their business. ”

Countrywide Property Auctions has placed 19 lots in Auction House London’s February catalogue. The auction will take place on 22nd of February at the London Marriot Hotel, Regent’s Park, NW3. All members of the public are welcome to attend.
